Getting started

Why is my image ad missing display sizes?

Display slots on mobile web and in apps need exact ad sizes. After you revise an ad, Adwave remakes every display size from the new version.

What are display sizes?

Display slots on mobile web and in mobile apps accept ads only at exact sizes, such as 300 × 250 or 320 × 50. For each image ad, Adwave makes a set of these sizes from the main ad.

What happens to display sizes when I revise an ad?

When you change an image ad, for example with the chat editor or a suggested fix, the earlier sizes no longer match it. Adwave automatically asks for every display size again from the revised ad, carrying your changes. You don't need to do anything, and you aren't charged for it.

What does "An ad is missing some display sizes" mean?

We couldn't make every size for one of your ads. The ad still shows in display slots at the sizes it has and skips the rest. Your other ads keep running.

What does "An ad isn't showing" mean?

We couldn't make any display sizes for one of your ads, so it isn't showing in display slots until its sizes are ready. Your other ads keep running.

How do I fix it?

Open the ad from the notice in Signals and ask for a new version. Adwave tries the sizes again from the new version. If you dismiss the notice, it stays dismissed for that version of the ad.
