Is Google Search part of my campaign?
Google Search is in the recommended channel set. When it is selected, Adwave drafts text ads (headlines and descriptions) and keywords for your campaign. Search ads are text only, so they don't replace the image, video, TV, or audio ads your other channels use.
Where do I edit Search ads and keywords?
You can edit them in two places before launch:
- In the plan: open Where your ads run, then the Search ads & keywords card. It shows your Google Search headlines, descriptions, and keywords.
- On Your ads: the Search copy appears with your other ads.
Review & launch shows a summary but does not edit Search copy.
If you just added Google Search and haven't saved your channels yet, the card asks you to save your channels first. Your channel changes are kept.
How are my Search changes saved?
Each change in the Search ads & keywords card saves to the campaign when you save it. Back to your plan returns you to the plan with your other edits kept.
How much does Search spend?
Google Search runs at any campaign budget. It spends from the daily budget you set, with no separate charge.
Can I change Search after launch?
Yes. Your Search keywords and ad text stay visible on a live campaign. Autopilot manages them by default. Switch the campaign to Guided when you want to edit them yourself or approve Autopilot's suggestions first.
