Running campaigns

Will my campaign pause if it isn't delivering?

Low delivery never pauses a live Adwave campaign. Days that can't serve are not charged, and days that run under budget are credited back.

Will low delivery pause my campaign?

No. Low delivery never pauses a live campaign. If a campaign delivers little or nothing, it stays live and Autopilot keeps adjusting its audiences, bids, and ads to restore delivery.

Am I charged on days that don't deliver?

  • A day when nothing can serve is not charged.
  • A day that runs under your daily budget is credited back to your wallet automatically, usually the next morning.

When does a campaign pause?

A live campaign pauses only for these reasons:

  • You pause it. Pausing stops future daily charges.
  • Your wallet can't cover the day. Add funds and the campaign starts again on its own within the hour, or press Resume to restart it right away. Turn on auto-refill to avoid this.
  • It reaches its monthly cap. Delivery picks up again after the cap resets on the first of the month, Eastern time.
  • A card payment is disputed. All campaigns in the workspace pause until support clears the dispute. See What happens if I dispute a card payment?

When the campaign's end date passes, it ends rather than pauses.

What does Rebuild reach mean?

If a campaign shows Rebuild reach, its interest audiences ran out. Press it to plan new audiences. Ads turn back on automatically when the rebuild finishes. You are not charged while a campaign is paused.

How do I check delivery?

Open the campaign page. The Channels & delivery card shows each channel's status: Preparing, Starting, or Live. A channel that could not start shows Didn't start with the reason. Spend and results appear on the Summary tab, and the Billing tab shows each day's charge and any credit.
