Billing & refunds
When do I get a refund or credit?
Adwave refunds launch days when nothing goes live and credits back any part of your daily budget that did not run, usually the next morning.

What if nothing goes live on launch day?
If no channel goes live on launch day, the full day's charge is refunded to your wallet automatically. You don't need to contact support.
Why do I see a charge and a matching refund?
If a launch is charged for a day but no ad has reached any channel yet, that day is refunded in full. The day is charged again only when the launch starts placing ads. While a launch waits, you may see a charge and a matching refund more than once. They add up to zero.
What if a launch is stopped for review?
If we stop a launch for review before any ad reaches a channel, the day's charge is refunded right away. If ads had already reached a channel, they are paused, and whatever did not run is credited back the next morning.
What if a Resume does not start delivery?
If you resume a campaign, the day is charged, and the Resume is turned down because no ad can serve yet, that charge is refunded. If a channel was still being set up, whatever did not run is credited back the next morning instead.
What if a day delivers less than my budget?
When your channels deliver less than your daily budget allowed, the difference is credited back to your wallet automatically, usually the next morning. You only pay for ads that ran.
A live campaign is never paused because delivery is low. A day when nothing can serve is not charged. See Will my campaign pause if it isn't delivering?
What if only some channels go live?
If some channels go live and others don't, the day's charge stands and the live channels keep running. Any part of the budget that doesn't run is credited back the next morning. See Why did my campaign launch without one of its channels?
Where do I see refunds and credits?
- Wallet activity: every refund and credit has a one-line reason, such as "the launch did not happen" or "ads ran less than planned".
- The campaign's Billing tab: each day is one bar against the daily budget. Dark is what you were charged. Amber marks a day that ran under budget. Green appears on days that credited money back to your wallet.
What is not refunded?
- Budget changes: today's charge stands. A new budget applies from the next daily charge. There is no proration.
- Pausing or ending: stops future charges. Today's charge is settled against what actually delivered, so any part that didn't run is still credited back.
Card processing fees on top-ups are shown at checkout. For a payment you think is wrong, contact support before you dispute it with your bank. See What happens if I dispute a card payment?
