Why does sign-in say "Too many codes for this email"?

Adwave limits how many sign-in codes each email address can request in 10 minutes. Here is what to do when you reach the limit or a code doesn't arrive.

How does sign-in work?

Adwave doesn't use passwords. Enter your email on the sign-in page and we email you a one-time code. The same step creates your account the first time. You can add two-factor authentication under Account & security.

How many codes can I request?

Each email address can request up to 5 codes in 10 minutes. Entering codes is also limited for each email address over the same 10 minutes. The limits protect your account from someone guessing codes.

What do I do when I see "Too many codes for this email"?

  1. Wait 10 minutes.
  2. Request one new code.
  3. Use the newest code in your inbox. Earlier codes may no longer work.

What if my code doesn't arrive?

  • Check your spam or junk folder.
  • Make sure you typed the email you use for Adwave, or the address that received your workspace invite.
  • Wait a minute before requesting another code, so you don't reach the limit.
