How do I choose TV publishers and set TV prices?

Choose which streaming TV publishers can show your ads, set your TV price per 1,000 views, and decide how much of the daily budget goes to TV.

What can I control on TV?

You control three things:

  1. Which TV publishers can show your ads.
  2. The price you pay per 1,000 views (CPM).
  3. TV's share of the campaign's daily budget.

If you leave these alone, Adwave picks the publishers, sets the bids, and balances the budget for you.

How do I choose TV publishers?

  1. In the campaign plan, open Where your ads run, then Targeting.
  2. Open TV targeting.
  3. Search the list, or sort it by name or by estimated price. Include the publishers you want, or exclude the ones you don't.
  4. Apply, then save your channels.

When you include publishers, your TV ads run only on the publishers you include. Some publishers can only be included, and some can only be excluded. The list says which.

Each publisher shows an estimated price range per 1,000 views, based on recent TV delivery for your business across a wider area than this campaign. Actual prices can vary.

How do I set the TV price?

Open Prices & bidding in Where your ads run. Automatic lets Adwave set the bid for each channel. Choose your own prices to set what TV pays per 1,000 views. On a live campaign, change prices in Buying settings.

A price that is too low can win fewer views. Any part of your daily budget that doesn't run is credited back to your wallet.

How do I set how much of my budget goes to TV?

Open Channel split in Where your ads run and set TV's percentage of the daily budget. The other channels share the rest.

Can I set a budget for each publisher?

No. There are no dollar budgets per publisher. You choose the publishers, the TV price, and TV's share of the budget. Adwave spends TV's share across the publishers you chose.

Why isn't TV live yet?

TV needs a finished TV spot (a video ad). Until TV delivery starts, the TV row on the campaign page shows Pending activation. A finished TV spot alone doesn't mean TV is serving. Delivery also depends on your budget, prices, and publisher choices.
