Fictional campaign example. Harbor & Pine is an invented business. This walkthrough explains creative choices and campaign goals; it does not describe a real customer, testimonial, or measured result.
The business goal
Make dinner plans feel like a decision already made.
I want someone to picture their next dinner here before they ever open the menu.
Fictional restaurant owner brief
A useful campaign starts with one action: reserve a table. That decision gives the image, script, headline, and destination a shared purpose.
The creative idea
Lead with the seafood and the setting. Carry one invitation from a short social hook to a dockside TV story, then make the menu and reservation easy to find in search.
The first seconds should tell the viewer what matters. Show the product or service in use, name the business early, and leave enough time for the invitation at the end. The visuals should make the promise understandable without adding invented discounts or performance claims.
How the idea changes by placement
| Placement | Creative job | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube | Start with an attention-grabbing detail, name the business early, and explain a benefit in the narration. | Reserve a table. |
| Instagram and Facebook feed | Pair a clear image with a short, useful message. The offer must make sense with sound off. | Open the relevant business page. |
| TikTok and Reels | Use a vertical composition, a conversational hook, quick scene changes, and readable captions inside the interface safe zones. | Reserve a table. |
| Search | Match the service to an active need. Use specific headlines and a description that helps the searcher decide. | Reach the page for that service. |
| Display | Keep one message, one recognizable brand, and one legible action. | Reserve a table. |
| Lead with a relatable question, explain the offer plainly, and make the advertiser clear. | Explore the offer. | |
| Streaming TV | Give the brand, benefit, and destination time to land. Reinforce the closing invitation in speech and on screen. | Find the business online. |

What to measure in a real campaign
Start with the action the campaign is designed to encourage. Check whether the destination makes that action easy, then review available ad engagement and website-conversion data together. Ad views, visits, and completed actions describe different stages; a change in one does not prove what caused a change in another.
This example has no campaign results. Any future customer story should use permissioned quotes and documented outcomes from that actual campaign.
