Adwave is an AI ad maker that runs ads as well as making them. It reads your website, builds image ads, social video and a TV spot, then buys media across TV, Google, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit and the web from one prepaid daily budget starting at $30. Campaign ads, chat edits and landing pages are included.
You preview and edit everything before adding a card.
What an AI ad maker that runs ads actually does
An AI ad maker that runs ads is a tool that produces the creative and also places and pays for it on advertising channels. Many AI generators stop at the first half. They hand you files, and you still open a Meta or Google account, upload the ads, set targeting and manage billing on each platform yourself.
Adwave covers both halves. According to how Adwave works, you paste your website, Adwave reads the offers and photos it can find there, and it suggests the customers worth reaching. It then builds the ads and, once you launch, buys media across the channels your campaign is eligible for.
You don’t open separate advertising accounts. The Adwave FAQ explains that Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Reddit ads run on connected accounts Adwave owns, and Adwave sets up a Google Ads account for your workspace. You manage the creative, budget and reporting in one place.
A website helps, but it isn’t strictly required. You can set up a business by hand and describe it instead. The campaign still needs somewhere to send visitors, such as a booking page, a form or a landing page.
The ad formats Adwave makes from your website
During setup Adwave shows you a preview of image ads, social video and a TV spot, and you refine them before approving anything. Each format has a different job:

- Static image ads run on mobile web, mobile apps and social placements. These are the quickest ads to scan and the cheapest to add more of. Our guide to making static image ads from a URL covers sizes and testing in more detail.
- Vertical social video is built for social feeds such as Instagram.
- A 16:9 TV spot runs on streaming TV and YouTube. Extra spots come in 15-second and 30-second lengths. If you want to know what goes into one, here’s how AI builds a TV commercial.
- Search ad text covers Google Search.
Here’s an example of one offer turned into all four formats. A neighborhood restaurant’s website lists wood-fired pizza, seasonal plates and online reservations. The TV spot shows the food and friends at a table with a line about a new weeknight plan and a reserve-a-table prompt. The vertical video uses the same photos with a short line about good food and good company. The image ads repeat the reservation offer. The search ad answers someone looking for pizza nearby with a headline naming the dishes and the restaurant. The offer and the next step stay the same. Only the shape and the amount of text change.
What’s included and what costs extra
Adwave keeps creative charges and media spend separate, so it helps to look at them one at a time.
| Item | Included or billed | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Business campaign ads made in the app | Included | $0 |
| Chat edits to those ads | Included | $0 |
| Landing pages | Included | $0 |
| Extra image ad | Billed from wallet | $0.38 each |
| Extra social video | Billed from wallet | $6 each |
| Extra 15-second TV spot | Billed from wallet | $6 each |
| Extra 30-second TV spot | Billed from wallet | $12 each |
| Upfront full-set generation, API or MCP generation, agency generation | Can draw from wallet | Quoted before you order |
The per-item prices come from Adwave’s pricing page. The FAQ lists the included items and the generation types that can be billed, and it advises reviewing the quote before ordering paid creative. Do that every time, especially if you’re testing many variations.
Media is a separate line. The daily budget runs from $30 to $10,000 a day. There’s no subscription, no contract and no platform fee on media spend. You pay from a prepaid wallet. Card deposits add the processing fee shown at checkout, and ACH deposits add no fee. Media that doesn’t deliver is credited back. Agencies running campaigns for clients pay for a license, which starts at $499 a month with media at cost.

How to review and approve ads before launch
Nothing runs until you approve it and fund the wallet. The steps go in this order:

- Paste your website. Adwave reads it for offers and photos. If you have no site, choose the manual setup and describe the business.
- Review the suggested audience. Start from the suggested customer profiles, then adjust ages, interests and locations. Options vary by channel and campaign category.
- Preview the ads without a card. The image ads, social video and TV spot appear in the Your ads step before you add payment details.
- Edit or replace. Change copy or visuals through chat edits, which are included. You can also upload finished ads you already own. For TV, our checklist on what to check in a streaming TV spot is a useful companion.
- Set a budget and area. Choose a daily budget from $30, then target a radius, ZIP codes, a city or a national audience.
- Deposit funds. New accounts start with an empty wallet, so you add funds before your first launch. Campaigns pause if the wallet can’t cover the day. Auto-refill is optional.
- Launch. Adwave buys media across the eligible channels, and you follow campaign activity and website conversions from the campaign.
Your approval isn’t the last check. The ad platforms apply their own policy review after you approve, as noted in our Adwave and Vibe comparison, so an ad you’ve signed off can still be held by a platform.
Where each format runs and what budget it needs
Channel access depends on your daily budget, so a small budget won’t reach every channel. Current published thresholds:

| Channel | Formats used | Opens from |
|---|---|---|
| TV (streaming) | TV spot | $30/day |
| Mobile web and mobile apps | Image ads | $30/day |
| Google (YouTube and Demand Gen) | TV spot, video, images | $30/day |
| Facebook and Instagram | Social video, image ads | $30/day |
| Google Search | Search ad text | $67/day |
Those figures come from the Adwave pricing page. A threshold makes a channel eligible but doesn’t guarantee it runs. The Adwave FAQ says budget, audience, creative, campaign settings and content eligibility all decide what can run. On the Adwave omnichannel page, availability also depends on audience readiness, inventory and policy. If one optional channel can’t run at launch, the rest of the campaign still goes live and you’re told why.
In practice, a $30-a-day budget is a TV, social and display campaign. If people find businesses like yours mainly by searching, plan for at least $67 a day so Google Search is in the mix. If you’re still deciding where your money should go, our breakdown on choosing between Google, Facebook and TV walks through the tradeoffs.
When your own creative still makes sense
Generated ads are a reasonable starting point, but they aren’t always the best one. If you already have a finished brand video or a professionally shot TV spot, upload it. Adwave accepts finished ads, and there’s no reason to replace something that already represents you well.
The generated ads can only be as good as what your site gives Adwave to work with, since Adwave builds from the offers and photos it finds there. A site with one stock photo and a vague headline produces vague ads, while a site with a clear offer, real photos of your work and an obvious next step gives the AI much better material to use. Fixing the site often improves the ads more than editing them afterward. The kind of business changes this too: a plumber sells trust and response time, while a boutique sells the product itself. Our piece on TV creative for service and product businesses covers how that changes what a spot should show.
Measure results instead of assuming them. Install the business’s tracking snippet, set up the actions you want to count, and give conversions a value if you want to see revenue and return on spend. The FAQ notes that last-touch credit, assisted conversions and Lift experiments each answer a different question, so choose the view that matches what you need to know. We won’t promise a specific result from any ad. What you get is ads made from your own material, a chance to approve them, and spend you can pause or change at any time.
